Carly Krajack- French & Indian War
3.- The war started over land disputes between England (and it's colonies) and the French (as well as some of their Native American allies).
-During the first two years of the war, the French and the Indians succeeded in defeating the British in numerous battles. The British retaliated later, and eventually won the war.
-The war officially came to an end on February 10, 1763. The Treaty of Paris was signed, which stated that the French had to give up all territories in North America.
2. -Although the British and their colonies beat the French, the cost of war sparked a tension between colonists and Britain when Britain pinned the costs on them.
-The capturing of the fort in Montreal, Canada led to the end of the war because Canada was the main territory of the French.
1. What was the motive behind the Native Americans joining the French in war? What did they have to gain?
